Beauty Bae was not born out of a business plan.
It was born out of a very personal awakening.
In my late 30s, I found myself facing something I had never truly confronted before a quiet but powerful loss of confidence. Pregnancy, motherhood, years of relentless work, heartbreaks, struggles, and countless ups and downs didn’t just affect my body; they touched my soul.
We often say the soul is complicated, but it’s actually gentle. A little positivity, a little self-love, some stillness through meditation, and it begins to heal, almost like it never aged at all.
But the body is different.
And the skin remembers everything.
Every sleepless night, every ignored emotion, every time we put ourselves last, our skin carries those footprints. Sometimes makeup can conceal them, and sometimes the damage feels irreversible. I realized this slowly, honestly, and painfully.
My introduction to skincare gave me something I hadn’t given myself in years: the space to pause, reflect, and acknowledge how deeply I had neglected myself, my face, my skin. When I finally began caring for it consistently, the results amazed me. It felt like my skin was waiting patiently to be loved again, and when it was, it gave back in ways I can’t measure.
The glow.
The happiness.
The confidence.
These are priceless.
And then I realized this wasn’t just my story.
It was the story of millions of women.
Women who give endlessly.
Women who survive silently.
Women who carry scars, visible and invisible, with strength.
That’s when Beauty Bae was born.
I started this brand with women who had been through rough phases in life, who struggled, survived, and healed not by erasing their scars, but by repairing them with positivity, resilience, and self-belief.
Today, I feel deeply grateful to share this story with the world to educate, inspire, and motivate more women to embrace consistent skincare not as vanity, but as self-respect.
I once heard a line that stayed with me:
“There are no ugly women, only women who’ve stopped choosing themselves.”
So let’s choose ourselves again.
Let’s step out of neglect and into care.
And yes let’s add a little Korean glow along the way ✨
Because self-care is not a luxury.
It’s a quiet revolution.
